Samuel García offers full support to search for missing persons

#EstadoDeNuevoLeón. – In order to support families and organizations that have been affected by the disappearance of a loved one, Governor Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda will carry out a series of actions to strengthen institutions and the coordination of efforts to solve this problem.

Upon receiving members of the United Nations Committee against Enforced Disappearances at the Government Palace, the Governor recalled that since he was a local deputy he has been involved in this struggle and has witnessed that many governments have done nothing about it.

He established his commitment to promote the necessary public policies and actions to guarantee the collectives a tireless work in their purpose, implementing programmatic routes with specific goals and employing the greatest resources available to use the best practices in the follow-up of the investigation of missing persons.

He asserted that the administration he heads has as a priority to assist and facilitate investigations in the matter, as well as the strengthening of the state agencies involved in these processes, many of which transcend the borders of the entity.

«What I can offer you is that Nuevo León is going to work on the issue, we have many families with missing persons,» García Sepúlveda explained.
