In Tecámac, State of Mexico, Municipal Security and Transit will become the Civil Guard of Tecámac for the 2022-2024 period

#Tecámac, #StateOfMexico. – Among the first measures implemented by the 2022-2024 administration, headed by the municipal president Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, she proposed to the members of the council the change of the name of the General Police Station of Security and Transit to Tecámac Civil Guard.

During the first town council session, Mariela Gutiérrez stated «It is proposed to the assembly that the Police Station be extinguished to give way to the Civil Guard Tecámac, with the intention that the change is not merely cosmetic, but involves a profound renewal of the mission, vision, objectives and mystique of the corporation. Emphasizing its character as a civil force of order, destined to protect and serve the citizens».

Likewise, it was announced that the foreseen changes are not feasible to be carried out in a single act, but «undoubtedly there must be a starting point in this agreement».

During the installation session, the mayoress emphasized that her administration is committed to effectively carry out the tasks entrusted and the administrative infrastructure will be strengthened.

«To achieve this, I firmly believe that the administrative infrastructure must be strengthened, because in public affairs everything well done is a collective merit and not of a single person,» said the mayoress.
