Governor recognizes Guanajuato’s sportsmen and sportswomen

#Irapuato, #Gto. – With the reconstruction of the social fabric, based on personal values and the discipline of a sport, Guanajuato would have lasting peace, said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, during the presentation of the 2021 State Sports Award to local athletes.

The Executive also recognized athletes participating in the first edition of the Junior Pan American Games Cali-Valle, in Colombia and medalists of the National Indigenous Sports Encounter (ENDI).

«All of you in your respective fields have raised the name of Guanajuato and Mexico very high; we are very proud of your work.

«Today we are celebrating the spirit of self-improvement, talent and energy to move forward, because behind every medal, behind every new record set, there is always a story,» said the Governor.
