Querétaro State government invests $36.6 million pesos in post-COVID-19 clinic

#EstadoDeQuerétaro. – The governor of the state, Mauricio Kuri González, visited the new General Hospital of Querétaro, where the construction of the post-COVID-19 clinic is underway, a space that he said will provide additional services to those who suffered from this disease.

The work is expected to be completed in May of this year. The investment in this space is 36.6 million pesos and it will have a single floor of 806 square meters of construction, where consultation and rehabilitation services will be provided.

The Secretary of Urban Development and Public Works, Fernando Gonzalez Salinas, explained that there will be two triage areas to evaluate users and then move on to the rehabilitation area. It will also have a therapeutic tank, a treadmill area, exercise bikes, a physiotherapy mat and mechanical equipment.

It will also have a space to provide services in the stabilization room, as well as respiratory therapy and physiotherapy, washing and sterilization. The state official explained that work is being done on the foundations and in the next few days work will begin on the placement of the structure.
