#SecretaríaDeCultura.- Decked out in black suits and charro hats, members of the mariachi of the Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández raised their trumpets to kick off the 30th edition of the Havana International Book Fair (FILH), in which Mexico is the guest of honor and where it will showcase its cultural richness and diversity with diverse literary and performing arts activities that will delight the public in Cuba from April 20 to 30.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Morro Cabaña Military Historical Complex, presided over by the Secretary of Culture of the Government of Mexico, Alejandra Frausto Guerrero; the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and the President of the Cuban Book Institute, Juan Cabrera Rodríguez, who expressed their gratitude to those involved for making another edition of this literary event possible, after the cessation of cultural activities as a result of COVID-19.
