IMSS deploys vaccination strategy against COVID-19 in Salud Digna A.C. facilities.

#InstitutoMexicanoDelSeguroSocial.- The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) established a collaboration agreement with Salud Digna A.C., so that in 109 establishments of this private institution nationwide, Social Security nurses will vaccinate against COVID-19 the population over 18 years of age who have not received a dose or who need to complete their schedule.

The strategy began on April 19 and was formalized through a collaboration agreement for IMSS health personnel to apply the vaccine to the population that requires it at Salud Digna facilities. To date, 46 modules have been installed.

Each module is equipped with the necessary furniture for IMSS health personnel to carry out their work in this intensive vaccination campaign.

There are also spaces set up to monitor the vaccinated people in case they require basic care by IMSS personnel on site and to make timely referrals to IMSS hospitals.
