Anchor products to boost tourism in the states that make up the Sea of Cortez Alliance

#SecretaríaDeTurismo.- Accompanied by the Secretaries of Tourism of Baja California Sur, Rosa Maribel Collins Sánchez; of Nayarit, Juan Enrique Suárez del Real Tostado; of Sonora, Célida López Cárdenas; of Sinaloa, María del Rosario Torres Noriega; and of Baja California, Miguel Aguiñiga Rodríguez; with the purpose of strengthening collaboration ties to promote tourism activity in these entities, which make up the Sea of Cortez Alliance.

The head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) highlighted the strategy of developing anchor products in each of the entities of the country, as well as high-level events that boost the arrival of national and international tourists, in order to detonate tourism and the economy of the communities, in addition to contributing to the diversification of tourism activity.

He indicated that in this sense, he recently toured «La Chinesca», Baja California’s anchor product, in the neighborhood that preserves the history of the Chinese migration that arrived in this entity in the 19th century.
