Mexican and international cinema at Tlaxcala’s Palace of Culture
#SecretaríaDeCultura.- The Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico brings to the Palace of Culture, its headquarters in Tlaxcala, new film screenings, in collaboration with the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (Imcine) and the Cineteca Nacional, with free screenings on Thursdays and Fridays from May 19 to August 26, at 5:00 pm.
With the aim of promoting the decentralization of cultural offerings and reaching more spaces, during May and June a series of films selected by the Cineteca Nacional, in collaboration with Nueva Era Films, from France and Germany will be presented, which represent a look at contemporary Europe. On the other hand, Imcine will exhibit a very varied selection of Mexican cinema, films made in the 70s, 90s and 2000s.
The screenings, coordinated by the Cineteca Nacional, will take place in the capital of Tlaxcala on Thursdays from May 19 to June 23. Similarly, Fridays will be the turn of the screenings programmed by Imcine, from May 20 to August 26.
