With dance and music, the first cultural festival is celebrated in Atizapán de Zaragoza

#Atizapán, #EstadoDeMéxico.- The Government of Atizapán de Zaragoza, through the Subdirección de Cultura, held the first Verbena Cultural in the vicinity of the Kiosco de Lomas de San Miguel.

Conceived as a space for family coexistence for the enjoyment of the people of Atizapán, this first edition included the presence of the Compañía Mexiquense de Danza Folklórica Citlalmina, an organization with more than 12 years of experience in the field.

Amidst applause, the dancers performed pieces to the sound of huapangos huastecos, as well as tracks from Veracruz, Campeche and Hidalgo.

Edgar Rainier Mendoza Palacios, Deputy Director of Culture, highlighted the effort of the current Administration in the resumption of cultural activities in the localities.

«We have visited these neighborhoods with other festivals such as Luminaria, we want them to know that this government is committed to bringing culture and these types of shows to their neighborhoods,» he said.
