Sistema Puerta Violeta in Tecámac, a comprehensive system of care for women victims of violence and their children

#Tecámac, #EstadoDeMéxico. – Nearly 100 public spaces in Tecámac belong to the Puerta Violeta system, where 124 officials will provide support to people who have an emergency when suffering some kind of violence.

Upon the request of the Municipal President of Tecámac, Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante, the members of Puerta Violeta trained 124 municipal workers from different areas, so that they can be the liaisons and be channeled to the corresponding instances during an aggression.

In the Best Government Tecámac 22-24 this system provides attention without the victim having to go to the attention facilities, and putting their integrity at risk.

Since its creation on March 8, 2022 until April 30 of this year, it has provided 372 services to people who have sought counseling for violence, legal, elder care, psychological, psychiatric and referrals to a shelter.

Puerta Violeta is a comprehensive system of care for women victims of violence and their children, where through a multidisciplinary intervention of all the areas responsible for prevention, care and combat, is expected to eradicate this social problem, in addition to ensuring that the perpetrator does not go unpunished.

The trust of the citizens in Puerta Violeta has increased, since this weekend in the stand that was installed in the archway of the community of Loma Bonita, 120 counseling services were provided, including alimony, divorce, guardianship and custody, orientation about gender violence and dating violence.
