Don Luis celebrates 98 years of life; the oldest adult, cared for by DIF Celaya

#Celaya, #Gto.- Don Luis celebrates 98 years of life and is part of the great family that is formed in Casa Día, Gerontological Center of the System for the Integral Development of the Family (Sistema para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia).

Last Tuesday afternoon, more than 70 seniors gathered at Casa Día to celebrate one of their companions, a celebration that was also attended by Luis’ family members, who listened to the mañanitas, danced and sang during this great party.

«For us it is incredible to be able to celebrate the oldest senior who is cared for by DIF and who is also a person full of faith and very active in his basic needs.»

«Of all the groups, it is the oldest and we take the opportunity once again to invite the general population to come and learn about the workshops we have, from physical activation, yoga, craft classes, thanatology. It is a very good environment where we always generate support for our adults,» said Adriana Cárdenas Ruíz, Coordinator of Adulto Mayor.
