12 thousand mexiquenses complete schooling courses in arts and crafts schools

#EstadoDeMéxico.- As part of the 26th anniversary of the School of Arts and Crafts (EDAYO) of Atlacomulco, headed by the Secretary of Labor in the entity, Maribel Góngora Espinosa, the closing of the second quarterly school period was held, which was taught in person in the 46 EDAYO, from which 12 thousand 129 mexiquenses graduated, reaching an 80.59 percent efficiency rate.

At the event, in which a posthumous tribute was also paid to Professor Roberto Barrios Castro, the General Director of the Industrial Work Training Institute (ICATI), Jaime Rebollo Hernández, announced that, in total, from January to July of this year, 38,501 people have requested training services.

He indicated that, in the EDAYO Atlacomulco, from September 2017 to May 2022, 5 thousand 642 people were trained, and from the quarter of May 16 to August 3, 255 more people graduated, so they received the certificates that accredit the knowledge acquired in one of the six workshops offered by the campus: Graphic Arts, Computer Systems, English, Gastronomy, Garment Creation and Tailoring, as well as Styling and Image Design.

The School of Atlacomulco, inaugurated on August 4, 1996, celebrated its first 26 years of life, through a joint recognition of the Ministry of Labor, ICATI and the local government in charge of Mayor Marisol Arias Flores, who thanked the relatives of Roberto Barrios Castro, professor and prominent politician, a native of that land, who, with the will to promote training, donated the land that houses the EDAYO Atlacomulco.
