More than 570,000 TecNM students restart on-site classes: Ministry of Public Education
#SEP.– After two years of confinement and distance learning activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, tomorrow, August 15, 576,815 students from 254 campuses of the Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM), in 32 states of the country, will return to classes.
For the 2022-2023 school year, undergraduate and graduate students throughout the country will have the support and backing of 30,367 teachers.
Currently, the TecNM trains more than 40 percent of Mexico’s engineers; it offers 48 undergraduate and 110 graduate programs, and has 1,202 members in the National System of Researchers (SIN) of the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt).
This institution of higher education has the broadest educational coverage of its kind in Mexico, ensuring equal opportunities for students in isolated localities and marginalized urban areas.
