#BenitoJuárez, #CDMX.- In support of the family economy and as part of his social commitment, the Mayor of Benito Juarez, Santiago Taboada, led the delivery of school kits to 1,317 children and adolescents of the district, with the aim of supporting the learning of basic education students, in addition to contributing to reducing school dropout rates.

«The truth is that we really wanted to meet again, we had not stopped supporting the back to school issue, but today we support, as we have been doing in previous years, with school supplies…. This support that we are giving is not only a stimulus for the children to go back to school better, it is also an economic support for you; the pandemic has been very difficult for all of us in economic and employment matters, and that is why today the Benito Juarez City Hall is making an effort so that this support can be seen in your pockets», highlighted the Mayor.

Accompanied by the federal deputy for Benito Juárez, Luis Mendoza, Mayor Santiago Taboada indicated that these are the 2 million best invested, since, he said, they directly benefit the children of Benito Juárez.

«With this school kit we are saving many parents more than a thousand pesos along with the support of the backpack, today those thousand pesos can be reflected in shoes, uniforms, in other things that children require. We are disbursing this resource because we believe and we want you to return to school with the best conditions, so that it is not an excuse not to have a notebook, a pencil, a pen to be able to return with everything and, above all, very happy to go back to school. I want to tell you that, from the bottom of our hearts, we are making an effort because we believe in education,» he said.
