Fovissste begins refunding balances to affected parties of Quintas del Desierto II / @drpedrozenteno @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The Housing Fund of the Institute of Security and Social Services of State Workers (Fovissste) began the refund of discounts applied to beneficiaries who used their credit in the housing development Quintas del Desierto II, in Gómez Palacio, Durango, which was left unfinished by the construction company.

In order to solve this problem, which is more than 10 years old, Fovissste undertook the following steps to regularize the situation of the creditors: definitive cancellation of the discount order, refund of the contributions made, and unmarking of the amount of the housing subaccount.

With these actions, justice is done to the borrowers affected by the developer’s default, by reimbursing them the amount of their contributions and safeguarding their right to exercise their credit again.

Fovissste thus reaffirms its commitment to attend to the needs of its borrowers, who must be placed at the center of the institution’s decisions, and therefore focuses on providing solutions to guarantee the stability and peace of mind of families.
