With the twinning between San Miguel de Allende and Aspen, Mauricio Trejo strengthens governmental relations

#Aspen, #Colorado. EE. UU. – With the signature of the municipal president Mauricio Trejo, San Miguel de Allende and Aspen, Colorado, are Sister Cities. This twinning is based on three fundamental axes: the cultural link, the artistic promotion of their talents, the economic boost in real estate and the strengthening of romance tourism; in this sense, San Miguel and Aspen agreed on a preferential exchange of guilds and cultural and artistic activities, as well as a dual education that focuses on bilateral trainings to improve practices, expand the knowledge of both destinations and provide better life experiences to their tourists.

«We saw a perfect match with the city of Aspen. We both share our cultural ambition, our mutually strong Texas tourism, as well as being a global wedding destination. This will be the beginning of a long-term relationship that we want to grow in our tourism sector,» said Trejo Pureco.

This bet on cultural and artistic issues between both tourist destinations found with this twinning a special connection; on the one hand, San Miguel is known worldwide for its history, its cultural and artistic richness as a World Heritage City, being «The Best Wedding Destination in Mexico» and sheltering a large American population in its territory.

With the twinning between San Miguel de Allende and Aspen, Mayor Mauricio Trejo strengthens governmental relations, joining forces with the U.S. business sector and creating solid ties of coincidence with this cultural reference city in Colorado.
