#Veracruz, #Ver.- Mayoress Patricia Lobeira de Yunes, together with the members of the Board of Trustees of the Institution of Citizen Improvement, announced the «Call for Citizen Improvement» to award the students with the best grades obtained during their basic education, as well as the exemplary Veracruz citizens of the municipality of Veracruz.

During the press conference, the Mayoress emphasized that this initiative enjoys public recognition and is unique throughout the country; which is a source of pride and unites, year after year, the Veracruz society, since its foundation in 1954. «It is an honor for me to participate in the development for the delivery of awards number 69, with which 160 girls and boys from 235 elementary schools in the municipality of Veracruz, both public and private, will be incentivized.»

She announced that students who year after year make a great effort to get good grades and be distinguished students will be recognized in the traditional ceremony held every November 20 at the Francisco Javier Clavijero Theater; likewise, recognition will be given to teachers who with their dedication and exemplary career have contributed to strengthen our culture and education.

«Something else that I am very excited to announce, is that finally after two years of pandemic, will be held from 21 to 28 November the classic trip «Route of the Insurgency», in which our children can visit the most emblematic places where our independence was conceived, as Xalapa, Mexico City, Queretaro, San Miguel Allende, Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato and Cordoba, and also give us identity as Mexicans, «said the mayor of Buenos Aires.
