#Edoméx.- The Secretary of Justice and Human Rights, Rodrigo Espeleta, installed the jury for the State of Mexico 2022 Award for the Defense of Human Rights «José María Morelos y Pavón».

Rodrigo Espeleta emphasized that, with this, the work begins to look for individuals or collective legal entities that stand out in the promotion, dissemination, defense, respect or protection of human rights and gender equality.

The jury is made up of Alejandra Del Moral, Secretary of Social Development, Martha Hilda González Calderón, Secretary of Women’s Affairs, Miguel Ángel Torres, General Director of DIFEM, Myrna García Morón, President of the Human Rights Commission of the State of Mexico (Codhem), Carolina Alanís, head of the Executive Commission for Attention to Victims of the State of Mexico (CEAVEM).

Also Diana Pérez Barragán, Executive Spokesperson of the State Council for the Integral Development of Indigenous Peoples (CEDIPIEM), Magistrate Cristina Miranda Cruz, representative of the Judiciary of the State of Mexico and a representative of the Legislative Branch.
