México will continue to be a world tourism power: Miguel Torruco Marqués / @TorrucoTurismo @SECTUR_mx >>>

#SecretaríaDeTurismo.- Accompanied by the governor of Oaxaca, Alejandro Murat Hinojosa, the head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) handed over the baton for the Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos 2023 to the state of Hidalgo, as the biennial venue for this important promotional window for the 132 towns that hold this designation.

He highlighted that the current administration is working to continue promoting the great historical, cultural and gastronomic richness of Mexico by holding important events, such as the 47th edition of the Tianguis Turístico in Mexico City; the fifth edition of the Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos in Hidalgo, home of the first Pueblo Mágico, Huasca de Ocampo; as well as the second edition of the Tianguis Internacional de Pueblos Mágicos in the city of Los Angeles.

He stated that the creation of tourism products will continue, and together with the completion of the emblematic works of this administration next year, as promised by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, Mexico will continue to be at the forefront, not only in Latin America, but also internationally, and with the premise of making tourism a tool for social reconciliation.

For his part, the governor of the state of Oaxaca, Alejandro Murat Hinojosa, emphasized the importance of continuing to discover the greatness of Mexico in each of the stands of the Magic Towns Tianguis.
