#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transport (SICT) through its Mexican Space Agency (AEM), informs that the short film «Colors of Space», by the young Mexican Adrián Reyes Pulido, was one of the winners of the international competition «CineSpace» organized by NASA and the Houston Cinema and Arts Society.

«We are very proud to receive this news from NASA, and we send our congratulations to Adrián Reyes, as well as to Eliana Esquivel and Ana Paulina Dávila, producers of the short film, for this triumph for Mexico,» said Salvador Landeros Ayala, general director of AEM.

«Colors of Space», which won third place among 169 other short films and filmmakers from 38 countries, includes images of pioneering women, as well as African-American engineers and technical diagrams, highlighting the importance of each person and all the preparation needed to explore outer space, said the U.S. space agency.

The contest, with which CineSpace and the AEM each year encourage national artists to use their talent to create stories, aims to make available to the public the archive of images and videos that NASA has accumulated in more than 60 years of conducting space missions, which, in a palette of conceptual art images, achieved «Colors of Space».
