#EstadoDeMéxico.- To improve mobility between the municipalities in the south of the State of Mexico and boost the development of this region, Governor Alfredo Del Mazo Maza launched the Sultepec-Tejupilco Corridor, as well as the highway bypasses of these two municipalities, which, with an extension of 45 kilometers, will facilitate the movement of people, goods and agricultural products in this region.

«Today we are delivering the Sultepec-Tejupilco Corridor, one of the most important roads in this area, in addition to the Tejupilco Beltway and the Sultepec Beltway. In total there are 45 kilometers of these roads that we are delivering today. This will help us strengthen the development of this region of the State of Mexico,» said the President.

At the launching of these road works, Del Mazo Maza stressed the importance of having the roads in the south of the state in good condition, since the 38 municipalities that make up the region have an annual production of close to 15.4 billion pesos, thanks to the production of flowers, corn, oats and other agricultural and livestock activities.

After unveiling a plaque alluding to the opening of this road infrastructure, together with the Mayor of Tejupilco, Rigoberto López Rivera, the state leader emphasized that through the Caminos del Sur program, his administration is meeting a historical demand of the inhabitants of this region of Mexico, where roads had not been rehabilitated for 30 years.
