«We are very happy because we continue with our programs, we continue with the «Bye Bye Baches», with which we restart our commitment to use the resources where they are most needed, investing in more and better infrastructure in our city, it is time to transform Tijuana, with hope, earning your trust with work, with results, because when we talk about austerity, it does not mean cutting public spending, but spending the resources well for the benefit of the people of Tijuana,» said Mayoress Montserrat Caballero.
For his part, the head of the Department of Territorial, Urban and Environmental Development (SDTUA), Miguel Ángel Bujanda Ruíz, indicated that by mandate of Mayor Montserrat Caballero, one thousand square meters will be rehabilitated as part of one of the priority programs of this XXIV City Hall, «Bye Bye Baches».
«Today we are turning the mileage around, in the first year of her administration we did 300 thousand square meters, for this year the mayor is asking us to double it and we are going to do it, we have already done 75 thousand square meters in this second round and today we are adding one thousand more for the benefit of Tijuanans,» said Bujanda Ruiz.
