More than 677 million pesos were invested to strengthen IMSS in Chiapas: Zoé Robledo / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS

#IMSS.- The general director of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), Zoé Robledo, informed the governor of the state of Chiapas, Rutilio Escandón Cadenas, that during 2022, 677.5 million pesos were invested for the two care regimes of the Institute, IMSS-Bienestar and Ordinario, in Chiapas.

At the Government Palace of the state of Chiapas, the director of the Social Security detailed that in the area of conservation in IMSS-Welfare, maintenance, conservation, image improvement, installation of antibacterial curtains, waterproofing in 200 Rural Medical Units and 10 Second Level of Care Units were carried out, in addition, the Rural Hospital of Bochil was expanded and completely remodeled.

Zoé Robledo pointed out that the medical units were equipped with 295 refrigerators for vaccines, 659 fetal heartbeat detectors and 1,637 computers.

The general director recalled that IMSS Chiapas, through IMSS-Bienestar, currently serves 2,83,57 million people without social security, which is why it was a priority to strengthen the medical units in order to provide more and better quality services.

Regarding the Ordinary Regime, Zoé Robledo said that more than 130 million pesos were invested in image improvement, 56 million 832 thousand 375 pesos in equipment and 29 million pesos in works and equipment for a new Mixing Plant in Tuxtla Gutiérrez.

He reported that IMSS Chiapas, in order to strengthen the administrative areas, acquired 2,90 thousand pieces of computer equipment with an investment of 42 million 627 thousand pesos, while 453 pieces of equipment were acquired for the medical units with an investment of more than 11 million pesos.
