Municipalities join forces for new IMSS hospital in Irapuato, Guanajuato / @LorenaAlfaroG @irapuatogob >>>

#Irapuato, #Gto.- In the quest to consolidate the construction of a new 260-bed Regional Hospital of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Irapuato, Mayor Lorena Alfaro García met with the Presidents of Pénjamo, Romita, Huanímaro, Cuerámaro, Pueblo Nuevo and Valle de Santiago.

In this meeting, the President of Irapuato highlighted the importance of this project, as it would address health issues for families not only in Irapuato but also in the seven municipalities that make up the region of the state.

«Today we had the privilege of having the presence, with the participation of the mayors of this micro-region. All of them expressed their interest in promoting this project, we showed them the status of this management before the federal authorities and, of course, the push we want to give it through the Governor,» she shared.

The President of Irapuato thanked the response to her invitation to the Municipal Presidents, as well as their willingness to join and, with unity, be able to realize this project for the benefit of the health of nearly 500,000 beneficiaries, according to the information provided by a census of the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).
