#ISSSTE.- By the end of 2022, the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste) had provided more than 2.2 million 200 thousand services to beneficiaries through the following channels: mailboxes and modules, Issstetel line (55 4000 1000), social networks, e-mails and the official website gob.mx/issste, as well as digital platforms, informed Israel Antonio Acosta Ibarra, head of the Directorate of Representation Offices.

Likewise, there was a 50 percent increase in the number of services provided to members compared to previous years, and medical care processes were improved by increasing quality certifications based on ISO-9001. This administration has been characterized by implementing actions to facilitate and improve the benefits and services provided to beneficiaries, he said.

He pointed out that, as of January 12 of this year, during the ground-level supervisions carried out by the General Director, Pedro Zenteno Santaella, in visits to 172 medical units and nine Child Welfare and Development Centers (EBDI) in 21 states, the Institute’s Directorate of Representative Offices detected 4,432 incidents and implemented 3,442 improvement actions. Currently, 78 percent overall progress has been made in strengthening the first level of care medical units, benefiting eight million 382,277 beneficiaries, 61 percent of the national total.
