SICT publishes aeronautical technical-administrative modifications for the CAIA / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- The Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) published two technical-administrative modifications of an aeronautical nature related to the Federal Civil Aviation Agency (AFAC), in order to strengthen services and be up to international standards.

The first agreement establishes that the AFAC, a decentralized administrative body of the SICT, will be responsible for carrying out the activities related to the Civil Aviation Medicine System, limited to aeronautical technical personnel and those aspiring to obtain a training permit as aeronautical technical personnel.

Likewise, said agency shall issue the psychophysical requirements to determine the state of health of aeronautical technical personnel and those aspiring to obtain a permit to begin their training, as well as the technical-administrative provisions applicable to the Civil Aviation Medicine System.

In that order, the General Directorate of Protection and Preventive Medicine in Transportation, under the supervision of the ACAA and based on such technical-administrative provisions, will continue to perform medical evaluations to aeronautical technical personnel and to those aspiring to obtain a permit for training as aeronautical technical personnel.
