Last road connection to AIFA to be opened by the end of February: Nuño Lara / @jorgenunol @SCT_mx >>>

#SICT.- Work on the 14.1 kilometer main road to the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) will be completed by the end of February of this year.

This is a three-lane expressway in each direction, which begins in Ecatepec at the Casa de Morelos and ends at the AIFA access traffic circle. To date, the work is 95 percent complete.

In December 2021, work began partially on the first parcels of land released from the Tonanitla ejido that affected the execution of the GAYPE and ICA contracts.

However, after a year and a half of management, last October 17, 100 percent of the right-of-way was available in the 6.6 kilometers of influence of the Tonanitla ejido.
