Mexican government works for IMSS-Bienestar to plan México’s healthcare development: Zoé Robledo / @zoerobledo @Tu_IMSS >>>

#IMSS.- The General Director of Social Security accompanies President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to supervise the IMSS-Bienestar Health Plan in Morelos.

Zoé Robledo indicated that the work carried out on infrastructure and equipment from October to date has an investment of 10 million pesos.

He said that for this year a project to replace equipment in health centers and hospitals has been programmed for 236 million pesos to cover 2,236 pieces of equipment.

The federal government, through the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), is working to have a centralized health system where there is one institution, in this case IMSS-Bienestar, which plans the development and medical attention of the country, to unite what had been fragmented and to have the same model for all Mexicans, said Director General Zoé Robledo.

During the supervision of the progress of the IMSS-Bienestar Health Plan in Morelos, headed by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the IMSS CEO pointed out that, in Morelos, 60 percent of the population does not have access to health services; with the arrival of IMSS-Bienestar, the action plan is based on four areas: infrastructure, rehabilitation and replacement of equipment, health personnel and the supply of medicines.
