DIF honorary president and mayor Raymundo Martínez fulfill their commitment to rehabilitate the eleventh CAIF in Toluca / @RaymundoMC @TolucaGob >>>

#Toluca, #Edoméx.- The Honorary President of the Toluca Municipal DIF System, Dr. Viridiana Rodríguez Rico, and Mayor Raymundo Martínez Carbajal led the delivery of the rehabilitation of the Comprehensive Care Center for the Family (CAIF) of San Juan Tilapa, thus fulfilling their commitment to reopen these spaces that were abandoned.

Thanks to the efforts made by Dr. Viridiana Rodriguez Rico, the goal of recovering the 11 CAIFs in the capital of Mexico City has been achieved, thus providing the population with quality social assistance services. Rodriguez Rico explained that these centers are part of a structure called Sistema Integral de Atención a la Violencia de Género (Integral System of Attention to Gender Violence), for which integral attention centers for girls, adolescents and women in situations of gender violence were established.

Martínez Carbajal recognized the enthusiasm, leadership, determination and commitment of the President of the Toluca DIF System to carry out this strategy for the well-being of Toluca families; he also thanked the DIFEM and the Women’s Secretariat for their willingness and good coordination with the municipal government, which demonstrates that, as in few places, there is a close relationship with the government of the State of Mexico.

The Toluca Municipal DIF System, in coordination with Economic Development, has worked so that 71 companies give preference to hiring women who have been through a situation of violence, of which three are already implementing it, in order to effectively promote the recovery of families, in addition to supporting, empowering and providing new opportunities for women.
