#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- The Municipality of Tecámac will allocate more than 150 million pesos in hydraulic infrastructure and will put into operation two new drinking water wells, making 2023 the year of greatest investment in this area, announced Mayoress Mariela Gutiérrez Escalante.

She emphasized that more than 11 million pesos will also be invested in the rehabilitation of treatment plants, for which she was pleased to head the municipality in the Valley of Mexico that has the largest number of these facilities in operation.

At the head of the International Water Day ceremony, in which he swore in a thousand children from different schools as members of the Water Guard, he pointed out that in this territory «we have been concerned about taking care» of the vital liquid, which not only means extracting it, infiltrating it through our 170 infiltration wells, but also treating it through the different plants.

Gutiérrez Escalante referred that ODAPAS promotes and fulfills one of the attributions that by law the municipalities have to promote the culture, care, saving and reuse.
