TecNM students will volunteer to provide INEA educational services / @Letamaya @SEP_mx >>>

#SEP.- The National Institute for Adult Education (INEA) and the National Technological Institute of Mexico (TecNM), agencies of the Ministry of Public Education (SEP), signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of incorporating students of that institution as volunteers to perform social service or professional residencies, providing educational care to people who require it.

With this agreement and its actions, INEA seeks to reduce the educational backwardness among young people and adults in the country. Therefore, INEA will rely on students for the promotion and attention of the educational services it offers and will issue the certificates related to the provision of social service or professional residencies to TecNM young people who participate on a voluntary basis.

During the signing of the agreement, INEA’s General Director, Teresa Guadalupe Reyes Sahagún, pointed out that through this alliance, thousands of students will learn to rebuild the social fabric in their own communities, by incorporating neighbors, friends and acquaintances to the literacy, primary and secondary education services, through the institute’s National Movement for Literacy and Education (Monae).

He added that INEA will work closely and on a daily basis with the 270 thousand students of the TecNM, through social co-responsibility so that all of them collaborate to help young people and adults who are behind in their education to leave this situation behind and start, continue and finish their Basic Education studies.
