Issste’s general director hands over the expansion of the emergency area of «Hospital General La Paz» / @drpedrozenteno @ISSSTE_mx >>>

#ISSSTE.- The general director of the Instituto de Seguridad y Servicios Sociales de los Trabajadores del Estado (Issste), Pedro Zenteno Santaella, handed over the expansion and remodeling of the emergency area of the Hospital General La Paz, where an average of 100 patients are attended daily.

On the second day of his working tour of the state, the head of the Institute pointed out that the expansion dignifies the service and doubles the attention capacity by increasing from 8 to 10 census beds, four pediatric beds, two shock beds, an isolation room and four consulting rooms.

The investment in this project amounted to 12 million pesos to guarantee electromechanical installations in the hemodynamics room, remodeling of the emergency service in the adult and pediatric observation areas, shock room, decontamination, obstetric assessment office, support rooms and two access porches, he added.

While touring the facilities, accompanied by the Secretary General of the Government of Baja California Sur, Homero Davis Castro, Pedro Zenteno informed that this expansion, the construction of the Cabo San Lucas Hospital Clinic and the equipment, which included the delivery of two ambulances to the La Paz General Hospital, are made possible thanks to the contributions made by the Mexican people; «we are only the administrators of their resources».
