With new units and regional replicas of the Operational Management Center, Green Angels strengthen their presence in México / @TorrucoTurismo @SECTUR_mx >>>

#SECTUR.- The head of the Ministry of Tourism (SECTUR) pointed out that these actions are part of the regional strategy for the Yucatan Peninsula and the southeast of the country to strengthen road tourism in the states of Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Tabasco and Chiapas; which are the result of diverse and detailed technical analyses.

He indicated that some of these actions have already been carried out in these states and others are underway, in close coordination with the authorities of the three levels of government, related to the strengthening of the operational infrastructure of Angeles Verdes, including the renovation of the vehicle fleet, the regional implementation of the replica of the Operational Management Center (CGO) and the mobile application, as well as the improvement of the catalog of properties for logistics, under the scheme of general coordination agreements with each of the states.

Torruco Marqués pointed out that in the state of Yucatán, the Federal Government, through the National Institute of Sustainable Land (INSUS), donated the property where the State’s Tourist Assistance Services Headquarters operates, which allows for efficient management of financial resources.

The Secretary of Tourism informed that, at the Tianguis Turístico México 2023, held in Mexico City, a General Collaboration Agreement was signed with the Government of Quintana Roo, through which the fleet will be strengthened by adding 3 units for the routes in the state, as well as a General Collaboration Agreement was signed with the Municipality of Solidaridad to assign a space for the Green Angels at the Tourist Assistance and Protection Center (CAPTA), in which the CGO will be replicated on a regional basis.
