More than 4 thousand teachers have participated in the «Voices and Reflections of the New Mexican School» Caravans: SEP / @Letamaya @SEP_mx >>>
#SEP.- The Ministry of Public Education (SEP), in coordination with state education authorities, carried out the Caravans «Voices and Reflections of the New Mexican School (NEM)» in eight Mexican states, in which 4,130 teachers from all educational levels participated.
The caravans, held in the states of: Campeche, Colima, Chiapas, Jalisco, Nayarit, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Yucatan, aim to generate spaces for collegial reflection on current educational practices of the NEM, in addition to the exchange of experiences between teachers, supervisors, principals, directors, technical pedagogical advisors, heads of education and other educational figures.
The meetings were led by federal and state education authorities, and the reflection was oriented towards four main points:
- Opinion and experience in the appropriation and knowledge of the NEM.
- Progress in the School Technical Councils (CTE) to concretize the analytical program.
- Strategies they have resorted to in order to broaden their knowledge and appropriation of the NEM.
- Recommendations and suggestions for the appropriation of the NEM that have been relevant.
The meetings, which are part of the Professional Development Program for Teachers, allow us to see education as an individual matter, to transform it into an egalitarian, solidarity, community and humanist education, attached to the principles of ethics and sense of belonging, representing a true revolution of consciences.
