DIF Celaya delivers 200 groceries to families of children rescued from child labor / @jmendozamarquez @municipiocelaya >>>

#Celaya, #Gto.- The Municipal Government, through the municipal DIF system, delivered 200 pantries to support 100 families that are cared for in the Coordination of Actions in Favor of Children (CAFI), as well as a van so that through this coordination the families of children rescued from labor activity can receive the follow-up they require.

The municipal president, Javier Mendoza Márquez, accompanied his wife and president of the municipal DIF board, Rosa María Suárez, to the delivery of these supplies and the van, where he highlighted the great work being done through CAFI to rescue children who previously worked on the street.

«Celaya had been characterized for being a city where in every crossroads we found children and adolescents begging or selling some things and it is not really the role they have to play; they have to be happy and our administration is doing our best to support the families, these children so they can live in a family environment, a friendly environment full of love,» said the municipal president in his message.

Mrs. Rosita, president of the Board of Trustees of the municipal DIF system, referred to the great usefulness of the van that was delivered today to this CAFI coordination, for the follow-up of the work they do, in favor of the minors.

«As we announced last April, in the first report of the program ‘For a Happy Childhood’, today we are delivering to this coordination a new van that will be used for the operation of the program of prevention and attention to child labor, performing street tours in 59 crossroads, as well as home visits to families who are on the register and that will also support the prevention programs of Psychosocial Risks and Positive Parenting,» she explained.
