#Tecámac, #Edoméx.- As part of the «Moto en Regla» operation, the Civil Guard was able to impose more than 700 infractions to motorcycle riders and sent 180 of these units to the corral during the first month, for various violations to traffic regulations or for having a theft report.

The corporation pointed out that this measure has had good results, since it has reduced the number of crimes involving alleged criminals on board this type of vehicle, and at the same time recovered those with a theft report.

The operation has been in place since April 14 and up to May 15, police officers checked a little more than a thousand motorcycles, especially on main roads in neighborhoods such as Villa del Real, Héroes Tecámac and Héroes San Pablo.

During last month, 700 motorcycles were checked, 556 infractions were issued, 135 motorcycles were sent to the impound for lack of license plates, while in the first two weeks of May, 300 checks were performed, 157 infractions were issued and 135 motorcycles were sent to the impound for lack of license plates.
In the first two weeks of May, 300 inspections were carried out, 157 infractions were issued and 45 motorcycles were sent to the impound.

In addition to the lack of license plates, the infractions were for driving without a license, lack of helmet and transporting more people than allowed, especially children.

This action is carried out in order to detect the theft of motorcycles, as well as to combat the crimes in which these types of units are involved, as in many occasions the crime rates have risen due to the large circulation of these vehicles without documentation and with more than two people on board.
