#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- As part of the social policy of President Mauricio Trejo, the Municipal Administration attends to the community of Guanajuato migrants who worked in the United States.

In coordination with the Secretariat of Migrants and International Liaison, the Municipality of San Miguel de Allende continues to receive applications from citizens of San Miguel de Allende and the other 45 municipalities of the state of Guanajuato, who have worked in U.S. territory or are relatives of these, can apply for the American Social Security Pension.

This is why the invitation continues until next Friday, May 26th, so that Guanajuato workers, wives and widows can approach to learn about the requirements and be eligible for a Retirement Pension, Dependents’ Pension or Survivors’ Pension from the Government of the United States of America (USA).

The Municipal Office of Liaison with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the Passport area located in the Municipal Administrative Building, continues to receive the corresponding documentation and provides personalized advice to facilitate your interview before the American Consulate.

In order to better respond to the requests made, and since they are generally for economic benefits, the Federal Benefits office of the U.S. Embassy will respond next month to each of the applicants personally and on a case-by-case basis, in addition to receiving them in Guanajuato Capital to avoid them having to travel to México City.
