#SanMiguelDeAllende, #Gto.- Once again, San Miguel de Allende was a regional sports venue, hosting the “Try Out Basketball”, towards the CONADE 2025 National Games.

Sports are part of the vision of President Mauricio Trejo to promote the dreams and development of young people from San Miguel, so this process of pre-selection and state selection took place in the sports facilities of the municipality of San Miguel, due to the quality of its infrastructure, particularly in the Sports Module “Baby Vazquez”.

“Mauricio Trejo told me that: this does not stop, if something is needed, just let us know, we give more. I support one hundred percent. He is the only president at a national level, I have always said it, of the more than 2,450 municipalities in the Mexican Republic, he is the only one who invests in sports,” said José Cruz Barrera, head of the Municipal Sports Commission (Comude).

The “Baby Vazquez” Sports Module, commonly called “Comude Module”, received this time young participants, born between 2010 – 2009 and 2008 – 2007, that is, from 14 to 17 years of age, in both male and female, from 11 municipalities in the north and northeast of the state: San Luis de la Paz, Atarjea, Xichú, San José de Iturbide, Santa Catarina, Doctor Mora, Tierra Blanca, Victoria, Dolores Hidalgo, San Diego de la Unión and from San Miguel’s own territory.

All these teams faced each other on the Sanmiguelense court, in order to consolidate the Guanajuato State Basketball Team and stand out in these Conade 205 national competitions. In the last edition alone, three Sanmiguelense competitors won gold medals in skating, boxing and athletics, respectively.
