Fentanyl kills you, the national coordinator of Mental Health and Palliative Care at the ISSSTE, Er\u00e9ndira Vicencio Rosas, explained that depression is a disorder that is classified within mood disorders, which predisposes people to substance use, according to the International Classification of Diseases of the World Health Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt happens that some of the drugs that can be consumed, stimulate the central nervous system and, once consumption is stopped, there is a decrease in the pleasurable sensation that can be produced. There is no causal association, but it has been seen in some studies that, for example, after consuming alcohol, around 57 percent of people can become depressed,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The specialist added that, in addition to depression, people with addictions can suffer from anxiety when they stop consuming, withdrawal syndrome, sadness, irritability or sudden changes in their mood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He clarified that one of the substances that generates these consequences is fentanyl consumed illegally, which is combined with heroin, methamphetamine, or other types of drugs, which produces greater dependence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe fentanyl that is used illegally, comes combined with other substances such as heroin, crystal meth, some different types of drugs.
