This agreement will allow for the comprehensive recovery of the Hondo River, benefiting thousands of families and laying the groundwork for more equitable and sustainable water management in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Montoya M\u00e1rquez highlighted that this alliance will guarantee wastewater treatment, rainwater catchment and its potabilization, with the objective of strengthening Naucalpan&#8217;s water autonomy and reducing dependence on the Cutzamala System. \u201cAccess to water is a right, not a privilege. Today, with this project, we are taking a firm step towards a water justice model that prioritizes people&#8217;s well-being and environmental balance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the El Conde neighborhood, on R\u00edo de los Remedios Avenue, the municipal president emphasized that the cleanup of the Hondo River will be a reference for the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico. \u201cWe are not talking about an isolated action, but a profound transformation that responds to a historical debt with our people. This project represents my government&#8217;s commitment to a more just and sustainable future,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was attended by the ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Mexico, Wilfred Mohr; the secretary of Economic Affairs of the embassy, Joris Mansour, and the director of OAPAS, Ricardo Gudi\u00f1o.
