#Tlalnepantla<\/strong>, #EstadoDeM\u00e9xico<\/strong>. – More than 6,000 points of light will create safer communities in Tlalnepantla East and West with the \u2018Illuminating Our City\u2019 programme, a comprehensive programme promoted by municipal president Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz that aims to restore peace of mind to residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the start of this action, which took place in the La Romana neighbourhood, the mayor emphasised that public lighting is crucial to guarantee more inclusive and egalitarian spaces, in addition to strengthening other public policies related to the issue of security, such as \u201cSafe Paths\u201d, \u201cRescue of Public Spaces\u201d, \u201cGender Alert\u201d, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayor announced that as part of the new rebirth of this subdivision, in the coming days the head of the General Directorate of Proximity and Citizen Security Jorge Alberto Gomez Estrella and his team of neighbourhood networks will meet with residents of this community to develop strategies, and security cameras will be installed to reduce the incidence of crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

P\u00e9rez Cruz pointed out that, in La Romana, 100 light points were installed on the sidewalk and pavements from Hidalgo Avenue to Prolongaci\u00f3n Toltecas Avenue, where 30 unusable pole lights were also replaced with 80 W pole-pole lamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is worth mentioning that of the more than 6 thousand luminaires that will bring back the brightness to Tlalnepantla, approximately 4 thousand have a capacity of 100 W, 1 thousand 500 of 50 W and 500 are of the 60 W pole type, all with LED technology of low energy consumption and environmentally friendly, complying with the applicable regulations in terms of public lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Tlalnepantla East, these works will be carried out in La Presa (Mexico – Pachuca), R\u00edo de los Remedios, Ignacio Pichardo Pagaza, Cerro de la Colmena in the Dr. Jorge Jim\u00e9nez Cant\u00fa colony, among others. At the same time, maintenance will be carried out on the street lights in the communities of Tlalnepantla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
