#Tlalnepantla, #Edom\u00e9x<\/strong>.- Members of the Civil Protection and Comprehensive Risk Management Directorate received donations of structural Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), supplies donated by the San Luis R\u00edo Colorado, Sonora, firefighters to enhance the firefighters’ work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On behalf of Mayor Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz, the head of the Tlalnepantla fire department, Mara Pamela Arreguin, recognized the work of Pietris Peralta Langholz, an active volunteer with the Heroic Tlalnepantla Fire Department. She was instrumental in managing the donation and is doing outstanding work serving the residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abPietris also collaborates with firefighters in different departments in the United States, Chile, and around the world. She is familiar with the needs of our firefighters and supported us in completing this donation of equipment that is so necessary for our daily activities,\u00bb she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that this equipment will be very useful for the firefighters who risk their lives every day in the services they provide to support the community in the various emergencies that arise in the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official mentioned that \u00abfor us, civil protection is vital. Our personnel are always the first to respond to any situation that arises, no matter how large or small, like the earthquake that occurred in 2021 or the Chiquihuite hill landslide, to name a few.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pamela Arreguin indicated that they will continue to seek partnerships with other states and countries to reinforce the equipment available to firefighters in order to minimize the risk that volcanoes face during the services they provide to protect the safety of the residents of Tlalnepantla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
