{"id":29502,"date":"2025-05-30T11:55:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T17:55:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mexiconews.tv\/?p=29502"},"modified":"2025-05-30T11:58:28","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T17:58:28","slug":"gem-rehabilitates-public-spaces-in-municipalities-with-gender-violence-alerts-with-the-lets-walk-safely-strategy-edomex","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mexiconews.tv\/?p=29502","title":{"rendered":"GEM rehabilitates public spaces in municipalities with Gender Violence Alerts with the \u00abLet&#8217;s Walk Safely\u00bb strategy \/ @Edomex >>>"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>#EstadoDeM\u00e9xico<\/strong>.- The State of Mexico government has rehabilitated 31.6 kilometers of public spaces with a gender perspective in 11 municipalities with Gender Violence Alerts through the \u00abCaminemos Seguras\u00bb (Let&#8217;s Walk Safely) strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This action guarantees women&#8217;s right to free movement in areas with a high incidence of crime, benefiting 262,237 residents of the State of Mexico to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thanks to this strategy, implemented by the Secretariat for Women (SeMujeres) in collaboration with the Secretariat of Urban Development and Infrastructure (Sedui) and the State of Mexico Road Board (JCEM), the government of Professor Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez has recovered and transformed, with a gender perspective, spaces where women of the State of Mexico thrive, with concrete projects such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rehabilitation of 14 roads with tactical urban planning.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation of 40 urban murals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of 25 smart monitoring points.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation of more than 1,700 suburban lighting fixtures and 1,837 interpostal lighting fixtures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This strategy involves leaders from the Networks of Women Peacebuilders (MUCPAZ), who identify territorial and security needs.
