#After 10 years of neglect, the Perif\u00e9rico Norte, known as Boulevard Manuel \u00c1vila Camacho, will be rebuilt in a joint effort between the Government of Tlalnepantla and other municipalities, in coordination with the Government of the State of Mexico, headed by Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez, through the Junta de Caminos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In an interview with the media, Municipal President Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz indicated that approximately 15 kilometers of this important road corresponds to Tlalnepantla and that it will be intervened with patching, lighting and, in due course, repair of the asphalt surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tlalnepantla hosted the \u201cPresentation of the Intergovernmental Strategy for the Rescue of Manuel Avila Camacho Boulevard\u201d, an initiative in which the municipalities of Atizap\u00e1n de Zaragoza, Cuautitl\u00e1n Izcalli, Naucalpan, Tepotzotl\u00e1n and Tultitl\u00e1n also participate, all of which are municipalities covered by this roadway that thousands of Mexicans and inhabitants of Mexico City use to travel to their destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding the deterioration of the Perif\u00e9rico Norte, Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz commented that \u00abIt is an example of how the PRI governed in the State of Mexico, they favored private interests over the general interest. It is not only the issue of the Perif\u00e9rico, but also of other roads, the destruction of hydraulic infrastructure that today has direct repercussions, among other issues, I would qualify as atrocious what happened during the neoliberal governments\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mayor pointed out that they will work closely with the state authorities in order to conciliate the actions to be executed, such as a census to determine the precise number of street lights required, as well as the potholes that currently harm drivers who drive on the Perif\u00e9rico Norte in the section corresponding to Tlalnepantla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
