#Tlalnepantla<\/strong>,\u00a0#EstadoDeM\u00e9xico<\/strong>.\u2013\u00a0Nearly one kilometer of Exc\u00e9lsior Street, located in Prensa Nacional neighborhood, will be rebuilt by the Government of Tlalnepantla to offer residents a safe and efficient mobility, as part of the road rehabilitation program being carried out in the municipal territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the kick-off ceremony of these works, the Municipal President Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz expressed that \u201cwe have advanced gradually in the reconstruction of different streets and avenues of our city, we proposed to intervene the most urgent roads this year and we do it with the conviction that a restored street generates better conditions to live\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mayor assured that a dignified street has effects on the citizens, such as raising their self-esteem and sense of belonging. He mentioned that with this type of actions we work in the reconstruction of the social fabric to generate conditions of harmony and progress in the communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abWe want the neighbors here in Prensa Nacional to feel satisfied to live here, we have come to take care of this deteriorated street and we intend to improve their quality of life. These works are not a favor or a handout, it is simply to recognize the right of all of you, social policy and public works are the product of your contributions,\u00bb he said before dozens of neighbors who gathered at this event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head of the Urban Infrastructure Department, Ana Luisa Cambr\u00f3n Degollado, indicated that this work is part of a global contract for the reconstruction of roads, which the City Council authorized for an amount of close to 150 million pesos to rehabilitate deteriorated streets and avenues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He pointed out that on Exc\u00e9lsior Street, the drainage line will be revised so that, once the street has been reconstructed, there will be no further damage to the road surface, while sidewalks and curbs will be replaced for the safety of pedestrians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
