#TlalnepantlaDeBaz,<\/strong> #StateOfMexico<\/strong>.- To improve the quality of life and mobility of people with disabilities, functional devices were distributed to those who require them. Tlalnepantla residents in this vulnerable area can now get around more easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz<\/strong> led this delivery and noted that the local government contributes to serving vulnerable groups. \u00abFrom here, we work in coordination with federal and state authorities to continue improving the living conditions of families in Tlalnepantla.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mayor recalled that in 2018, he knocked on the doors of homes in Our City and found a bleak situation: \u00abMany elderly people were bedridden, some abandoned and plunged into sadness. We also saw people with disabilities without the slightest mobility options and, above all, without functional devices to move around their homes. That’s why we are here to support them and tell them they are not alone.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this event, he noted, the Tlalnepantla government’s commitment to supporting people who need a functional mobility device is reaffirmed. Support will continue to reach this vulnerable sector until the end of the current administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In front of the attendees and beneficiaries of this support, P\u00e9rez Cruz stated that municipal authorities maintain a permanent shared responsibility with the federal and state governments so that, through the social policy implemented nationwide, more people can escape poverty, as more than 10 million Mexicans have done since the last six-year term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe administration of former President Andr\u00e9s Manuel Obrador treated older adults as an act of social justice, and today, by constitutional right, they have access to universal care for this segment of the population,\u201d she mentioned.
She added that this is a vision of social policy that continues under Mexico’s first female President, Dr. Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. As a result, all adults over 65 nationwide now have a pension that guarantees their most basic needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For her part, the head of the Welfare Department, Jezabel Delgado Flores, added that in addition to providing functional devices, the Tlalnepantla government offers various programs and services to benefit vulnerable groups. Therefore, she urged citizens to monitor the City Hall’s official spaces for calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
