#TlalnepantlaDeBaz,<\/strong>\u00a0#StateOfMexico<\/strong>.-\u00a0With the goal of advancing in areas such as infrastructure and public services; equipment; public spaces; metropolitan infrastructure; heritage, among others, the 9th Regular Session of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Metropolitan Development Council of the Valley of Mexico was held.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On this occasion, Tlalnepantla hosted this important working group, which included the participation of state, federal, municipal, Mexico City, and State of Mexico authorities, all with the goal of building better environments for residents through strategies that generate infrastructure improvements and public spaces worthy of healthy coexistence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz, Mayor of Tlalnepantla, affirmed that local authorities are aware of the problems the city faces in terms of urban infrastructure, and therefore a line of work was established with the deep conviction of addressing citizen demands, with comprehensive actions among the different departments of the City Council that improve the living conditions of its residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She expressed her gratitude for the support of the Government of the State of Mexico, led by Professor Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez, and of Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, President of the Republic, who are promoting the Eastern Strategic Plan, which includes Tlalnepantla. \u00abThis is a very decisive step in terms of metropolitan coordination. We are fully prepared to contribute to these actions, which will bring great benefits to our city.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The council member mentioned that this forum is a space for discussion, analysis, and proposals on the challenges facing the Metropolitan Area of the Valley of Mexico (ZMVM) and assured that the ideas presented here will be taken into account to move toward a promising and prosperous future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Secretary of Planning, Territorial Development, and Metropolitan Coordination of Mexico City, Alejandro Encinas Rodr\u00edguez, indicated that these sessions allow for mapping the inequality that exists in some regions and are also a window of opportunity to propose initiatives to mayors that do not require large investments but can bring significant benefits to communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that Tlalnepantla has enormous tourism potential with emblematic sites such as Santa Cecilia, Tenayuca, and the esplanade of the Municipal Palace with its imposing Corpus Christi Cathedral. \u00abThere are many attractions here that we need to publicize. We are going to propose to our colleagues at the Mexico City Tourism Secretariat that this corridor, which has great cultural value, be included in the various routes being considered for the 2026 World Cup.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Undersecretary of Urban Development and Infrastructure of the Government of the State of Mexico, Tania Mart\u00ednez Garc\u00eda, stated that state authorities are working daily to implement quality projects that improve mobility and urban infrastructure in the 125 municipalities, reflecting Governor Delfina G\u00f3mez \u00c1lvarez’s commitment to modernizing the state and creating jobs for the people of the State of Mexico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
