#MinistryOfCulture<\/strong>,\u00a0#Mexico<\/strong>.-\u00a0The Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico, through the General Directorate of Cultural Relations (DGVC), is holding \u00abI Have a State Dream, a Festival of Community Cultures\u00bb between August and December 2025. These are 23 artistic and cultural presentations in 23 states across the country, in which members of the Creative Seedbeds showcase the work they have done over the past six months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are spaces for coexistence, expression, and dialogue in which Creative Seedbed participants share diverse expressions (drawings, paintings, storytelling, theater, dance, and circus performances), and more, with their communities in theaters, museums, and cultural centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a virtual press conference to announce \u00abI Have a State Dream: a Festival of Community Cultures,\u00bb the Director General of Cultural Outreach, Diego Ra\u00fal Mart\u00ednez Garc\u00eda, emphasized that it is thanks to the collaboration between federal, state, and municipal agencies that transformative public and cultural policies are being promoted, enabling the opening of new Seedbeds, partnering with teachers, promoters, families, and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00abThe Creative Seedbeds have established themselves as fundamental spaces for listening and building community with the children and youth of our country. Hence the importance of opening these spaces in the states to promote a change of perspective, join forces, and multiply experiences that allow more children and young people to grow up free from violence.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accompanied by representatives of cultural institutions from the states of Aguascalientes, Campeche, Mexico City, Colima, State of Mexico, Guerrero, Hidalgo, Morelos, Nuevo Le\u00f3n, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quer\u00e9taro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potos\u00ed, Sonora, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Tlaxcala, and Yucat\u00e1n, Mart\u00ednez added: \u00abThey are safe spaces where children and young people can find their voice, discover their talent and identity, and engage with their roots. They are a project for future generations, growing in more municipalities, involving more and more people and with the help of a greater number of allies.\u00bb
In her remarks, the general director of the Institute of Culture and the Arts of the Government of the State of Campeche, M\u00f3nica Sosa Rodr\u00edguez, affirmed her institution’s commitment to joining initiatives that support children in the arts, for a more humane and sensitive future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cInvesting in art helps us develop individuals, new people, build relationships, and help our children learn to dream, foster their creativity, and strengthen their self-esteem through all these artistic disciplines.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
