#TlalnepantlaDeBaz<\/strong>,\u00a0#StateOfMexico<\/strong>.- Students, specialists, and representatives from the public and private sectors participated in the academic forum \u00abWastewater Treatment as an Alternative for the Present,\u00bb organized by the Decentralized Public Agency for the Provision of Drinking Water, Sewerage, and Sanitation Services of Tlalnepantla (#OPDM<\/strong>), in coordination with the Iztacala Water and Sanitation Service (#FES<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of World Water Week, participants reflected on current challenges and solutions in wastewater treatment. With the participation of experts in water and environmental issues, a space for knowledge exchange was created with great educational value for the student community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head of the OPDM, Alberto Vald\u00e9s Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, indicated that one of the forum’s central themes was raising awareness about the value of water, recognizing it not only as an essential resource for life, but also as an element that requires responsible and sustainable management. He also called for a rethinking of everyday practices that promote a culture of care for this vital liquid, from the individual to the collective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official mentioned that Mayor Raciel P\u00e9rez Cruz<\/strong> instructed the building of alliances with educational communities, government agencies, and the private sector with the goal of continuing to promote knowledge, foster best practices, and move toward a more conscious present that contributes to building a sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Representatives from the State of Mexico Water Commission (#CAEM<\/strong>), the Mexican Council of Science and Technology (#COMECYT<\/strong>), and the National Association of Water and Sanitation Entities of Mexico (#ANEAS<\/strong>) were present during the forum, which allowed for an enriching dialogue with diverse institutional perspectives and application approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the program, the documentary \u00abWater in the Megalopolis\u00bb was screened, serving as the starting point for a panel discussion featuring leading women in wastewater management and treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This space also included participation from the industrial sector, represented by Nutresa Region Mexico, reinforcing the event’s multidisciplinary and inclusive vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
