#Tec\u00e1mac<\/strong>, #StateOfMexico<\/strong>.- The Tec\u00e1mac City Council announced the winners of the 2025 Municipal Civil Merit Award in ten different categories. The award is given to individuals or civil associations for their contributions to the municipality in the cultural, artistic, scientific, pedagogical, and public service fields, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, 143 winners will be given, 89 of them in the category of Academic Excellence, for outstanding academic achievement with a 10-point average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One person will receive the award in the \u00abHeberto Castillo Mart\u00ednez\u00bb Scientific and Research Merit category; six will receive the award in the \u00abFelipe Villanueva Guti\u00e9rrez, illustrious Mexican musician\u00bb category; and the \u00abJos\u00e9 Vasconcelos Calder\u00f3n, Apostle of Education\u00bb Award for Pedagogical and Teaching Merit, eight winners, while the \u00abMexican Red Cross\u00bb Award for Community Service will be presented to four people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u00abDon German Est\u00e9vez L\u00f3pez, Mayor of Tec\u00e1mac\u00bb Award for Municipal Public Service will be presented to the Puerta Violeta department and 30 public servants from the Office of the Elderly; and the \u00abGeneral L\u00e1zaro C\u00e1rdenas del R\u00edo\u00bb Award for Municipal Strengthening will be presented to the architectural firm Taller Capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u00abFelipe \u00c1ngeles International Airport\u00bb Award for Economic Promotion and Development went to one winner, as did the \u00abSierra Hermosa Ecological Reserve\u00bb Award for Environmental Care and Preservation, and the \u00abJuana In\u00e9s de Asbaje Ram\u00edrez de Santillana\u00bb Award for Respect for Diversity, Equality, and Gender Equity, to one person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The awards will be presented in solemn ceremonies on September 12, the bicentennial of the establishment of the Municipality of Tec\u00e1mac, and on September 13, the 58th Anniversary of the Heroic Deed of the Boy Heroes of Chapultepec, to the winners of the Academic Excellence Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
